Universal™ Cinemark at Universal CityWalk Orlando

"I don’t usually leave reviews for movie theaters, but Cinemark at Universal Studios definitely deserves one. This place far exceeded my expectations and gave me one of the smoothest, most comfortable movie experiences I’ve ever had — right in the heart of one of the busiest destinations in Florida. First off, the location is unbeatable. Nestled right inside Universal CityWalk, Cinemark offers the perfect escape from the theme park crowds. Whether you’re wrapping up a long day at Universal Studios or just coming in for a movie night, it’s super convenient. Once you step into the theater, it feels like you’re entering a calm, cool bubble away from the chaos. The theater itself is modern, clean, and really well-run. The seats are massive, fully reclining loungers with tons of space and comfort — honestly feels more like watching a movie in your living room than in a traditional theater. There’s plenty of room to stretch out, and even on a packed night, you don’t feel cramped or crowded. The aisles are wide, and everything feels new and well maintained. Sound and picture quality? Top notch. We saw a new release in their XD auditorium, and the difference was noticeable. The surround sound is sharp, immersive, and deep — you can feel it in your chest during action scenes. The screen was crystal-clear, and everything just looked and sounded incredible. It’s made me never want to go back to a standard screen again. Concessions were what you’d expect in terms of pricing — a little high, but that’s everywhere these days. The popcorn was fresh, buttery, and perfectly salted. The staff was also friendly and efficient, and the line moved quickly even during peak time. Bonus points for how clean the entire place was — from the restrooms to the theater itself, everything was spotless. You can tell they actually care about the customer experience and keeping the environment welcoming. Yes, parking is inside the Universal garage, which can be a bit of a walk, but if you validate your ticket or come during the free parking hours, it’s not an issue. Plus, you get to stroll through CityWalk, grab a bite to eat, and make it a whole evening out. It’s actually part of the fun."

"Just watched Wicked at theater #11. The interior of entire theater was awesome, the surrounding sound was insane and the lounge chairs were more comfortable than any other I’ve experienced. And watching the Universal film masterpiece in the Universal area was extra special. This theater was unexpectedly not crowded, which was a pleasant surprise. I live nearby and there are 4 great movie theaters around the area. This just became my favorite theater."

"Great prices on drinks! You can get a good deal on beverages compared to the rest of the CityWalk area. The theaters are clean and the seating is very comfortable. Add in some great air conditioning and it is a perfect way to relax after being at the parks all day."
